Alabama Toys and Teacups had such a wonderful time at the Arab Mothers Club Bazaar this year. Saturday, November 12th 2011. This is our 3rd year to set up at the Bazaar. We love meeting and greeting with the community and sharing our love for our puppies and dogs. This year we had loves of our new inventory to show and purchase. We had such a wonderful time at our 1st annual Fall Howl-O-Ween Dog Festival Saturday, October 29th 2011 and so did all our furry friends that joined us!!! Arab Alabama has went to the DOGS!! Alabama Toys and Teacups joined up with Whistling Wings Kennel  (http://theultimatesportingdog.com/) to raise awarness to our Furry Friends in the community. We want to be more pet/dog friendly here in Arab, AL.

My name is Abby Baker and I live in Huntsville, AL. I had the most amazing dog in the entire world Zoey Grace Lupo. She was a 5lb Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie). I lost her July 28, 2011 to a very tragic accident. She was rushed to the Animal ER in Huntsville then to Auburn University and did not make it. I was and I am still having a very hard time with her being gone she was my best friend and went everywhere with me!
I had a bad day at work about a month after and left early. Knowing that I couldn’t go home to Zoey I got upset and decided to play on my Facebook when I saw an adorable picture of a Chi-weenie on my home feed. Wondering what in the world he was I looked up the breed and read very good reviews on them! I asked Merry Melton if she had others and she sent me all 5 of the puppies pictures immediately. Looking over them I fell in love with little Dexter’s face. We drove to Arab that day to look at all of the puppies and decide if I was ready to get one. The minute I picked up Dexter he loved on me and kissed me all over I knew then he was going home with me! Merry Melton was so helpful! She informed me about the breed and how to take care of him. He is now 12wks 4.6lbs and the happiest little man I have ever seen! He sits and plays fetch! He loves all his toys and playing with my boyfriend and I. He also loves playing with other dogs and kids, he isn’t afraid of anything!! I am so blessed to have found another perfect little angel like my sweet Zoey and I thank Merry Melton and Alabama Toys & Teacups for making this possible!!

I can not thank alabama toys & teacups enough! I searched for puppies for what seems forever online and at local pet shops, but nothing stood out to me then I came across alabama toys & teacups online site. I fell in love with every puppy there..but one stood out, it was a precious female chiweenie...I fell in love. Although I was nervous about purchasing a puppy online and flying her to New York where I live I trusted Merry from just the sound of her voice on the phone. Merry flew my new puppy to New York..safe & sound. When I reached the airport to pick up my new baby I was greeted by a wagging tail and puppy kisses. You don't exactly know what to expect when purchasing a puppy online, but she was more then perfect! I named her Mia. She is now settled into her new home and has the sweetest personality. not getting back to you sooner concerning how Sassy our new puppy is doing. 

We are now just getting settled with moving into a home we gutted out 

and remodeled everything. I wanted to REALLY thank you for raising our 

little puppywith lots of love. Our puppy is such a wonderful part of 

our family. She is one of the best tempered dogs I have encountered and 

I grew up with dogs. Little sassy goes everywhere with us including to work 

andis loved by everyone. Last week someone gave us a gift card to petco
because she is such a good dog. After her little adjustment period she
has had no problems. I do hope you reconsider to continue to breed

get a dog from you too. For Halloween she was a cow girl and had a little

I'm going to insert a couple of pics we're taken!  Macy May is so smart and calm. We love her so much. In two weeks we're going overnight to Callaway Gardens for a wedding. We're going to take Macy May with us.  She's such a great car rider. She just wants to lay on my lap!!! Hi Merry!!!  Just wanted to drop by to say hello and update you on Rascal.  He is doing very well and seems to LOVE his new home.  He is spoiled rotten and we all just love him to pieces!!!  He has made best friends with our Lab, Bailey.   They both put each other in their place, but love to play together all the time.  The boys just love Rascal and can't get enough of him.  He is ornery rotten and we definitly can't keep our eyes off him for a second.  He is getting much better, though.  We had a tough time potty training him.  He is getting alot better with that.  Still having a few accidents, but definitly not like it was.  He is a total mama's boy.  He follows me everywhere.  He just graduated from his pack and play to sleeping with us at night. I swore I wouldnt have another dog in our bed, but he runs into our room at night and hides so I won't put him in his pen!!!   He loves to cuddle with us.  I love that, since our lab is not a cuddler.  He loves the outdoors and especially the snow!!!!  We live in the woods with over 100 acres.  He goes on long walks and is hysterical to watch.  He really has a blast out here.  He loves to tease our goats too!  He is definitly a great addition to our family.  Thanks so much for all you did for us.  He is very healthy as you will see in the pics, he loves to eat!!!!  I was cleaning off the table from dinner one night and left a chair pulled out.  Rascal decided to jump on top of the table and eat the leftover food!!!  He is a trip!!!  I hope all is well with you.  Thanks again!

 Kloie is very loveable and spoiled rotten. She thinks that she is a human being. She doesn't go outside because she will take off like a rabbit. She uses the bathroom in the bathroom. When we ride in the car she rides on my neck. She sits in the purse when we go to town. After sitting in the purse for so long she will eventually go to sleep. I dress her up and take her to wal mart and show her to people who will want to look. Everyone thinks that she has the most beautiful eyes you have ever seen. Everybody wants to hold her all the time. She sticks to my side. Wherever I go she will follow right behind me. She loves flip flops. She will chew on any pair that she spots. When it is time for bed, I will lay down and turn the lights off and she is ready to play. She will eventually calm down and will go right to sleep. She sleeps with me at night, and when I am on the wrong side of the bed she will lay on my pillow. She is sucha joy to have around the house. She keeps me company when I am by myself.
